About the Artist

My name is Jackson Mishalani and I am a interdisciplinary artist originally from Seattle, WA, my pronouns are he/him or they/them. I had the privilege to receive my Bachelors in Illustration at Cornish College of the Arts in the summer of 2024. As a trans man and queer person, my perspectives shape my art constantly, and in doing so I always hope my work helps other folks feel seen. My fiancee I have since relocated to the Twin Cities and am always happy to find new community in Minnesota. When I’m not making art, writing or doing everyday things I’m normally knitting, crocheting, gardening or reading. At the very moment, and I’ve been fixated on learning about medieval history on Youtube while knitting.
